Discover the area, between lagoon and sea

Cavallino Treporti is a unique place where water and nature meet, with scenic routes, colorful villages, and local traditions — and it’s also the perfect starting point to reach some of Italy’s most beautiful cities.

From Ca’ Berton Village, you can easily plan your excursions, choosing a different experience every day.

Feel the sunlight reflecting on the lagoon, the quiet of nature around you, and the fresh sea air as you explore — all part of a relaxing family holiday by the Italian seaside.

By bike

The area is crossed by a dense network of cycle paths suitable for everyone.

You can choose between:

  • Via degli Orti della Laguna, towards Lio Piccolo and Mesole, through a quiet landscape where, with a bit of luck, you can spot pink flamingos
  • Via delle Fortificazioni, between former military batteries and hidden views of the coast, with the Batteria Pisani, home to the historical museum of the First World War
  • Via del Tramonto, all the way to the Pagoda lighthouse at Punta Sabbioni, perfect in the evening hours
  • the spectacular cantilevered cycle and pedestrian path over the lagoon, one of a kind

A natural way to explore the area, surrounded by light, silence and freedom.

By boat

You can rent electric boats (no licence needed) or canoes to experience the lagoon independently, in a quiet and sustainable way.

For a more dynamic experience, sail aboard the Jolly Roger, the pirate galleon that departs from Cavallino and Jesolo: entertainment and fun for the whole family.

From the Punta Sabbioni pier, just 6 km from the village, there are frequent connections to Venice, Burano, Murano and Torcello.
At reception, you can buy tickets for public transport or choose excursions by private boat.

Culture and lagoon islands

Venice

Elegant and timeless, is one of the most evocative cities in the world, with 417 bridges, narrow alleys, canals and golden reflections at sunset.

Every island tells a different story, all easily reachable from the village.
